Gent S4 Optical Detector (S4-715)

The Gent S4-715 is a genuine Gent by Honeywell S-Quad analogue addressable optical smoke detector for Gent Vigilon-family fire alarm panels, including Vigilon Plus and Compact Plus. It gives reliable early warning of slow-burning and smouldering fires in commercial and industrial buildings, and is supplied as a like-for-like replacement part for existing Gent Vigilon-family systems.

Detector head only — base not included. Requires the Gent S4-700 common S-Quad base, sold separately.

Key features

• Optical smoke sensing for early detection of smouldering fires
• Built-in short circuit isolator to protect loop integrity
• Programmable sensitivity states for different risk environments
• Mounts on the common S-Quad base, so detector types can be swapped without rewiring

Specifications

Compatibility

Designed for Gent Vigilon-family analogue addressable panels. Compatibility on an existing system depends on the panel, loop card and software versions, so if you're replacing devices on an older installation, send us the panel model and the part numbers currently fitted and we'll confirm before you order.

What's in the box

Detector head only. Order the S4-700 base separately if you don't already have one.

Genuine parts, trade supply

Supplied new and genuine through our Honeywell-authorised Gent distribution, not grey-market or used stock. Using genuine, approved devices helps keep your system's EN54 approval and BS 5839-1 servicing regime valid.
